FAS curates a collection of artistic positions that represent cultural, political, and historical views. Committed to creating change, we seek to centre these voices and address the issues they raise.

FAS aspires to expand and grow by entangling a dialogue between new perspectives and experienced artists from various countries of the African continent and its diaspora. We believe in strengthening the production, recognition, awareness of ideas and perspectives in contemporary art, by creating conditions to propel emerging voices, fostering talents through critical curatorial proposals and publishing practice.

To promote new readings of the collection and to highlight the relevance of thematic aspects emerging from it, FAS invites guest curators, writers, and critics, who collaborate on our collection and publishing program.
